How to Vote Your Absentee Ballot

Each absentee ballot envelope should contain 4 ballots, a white secrecy envelope, a yellow affirmation envelope and directions for voting. To make sure that your vote is counted, please follow the enclosed directions.

This is the Primary Election, you choose only one ballot to vote, the other three you may discard (shred or tear them up). Your ballot choices are: Democrat, Green, Libertarian, or Republican. If you vote more than one ballot, it is rejected and your vote does not count.

Please remember to sign the yellow envelope. We verify signatures, so sign the way you normally sign. Mom and Dad, don’t sign your kids ballots! They are 18 and adults, they vote and sign their own ballots. If you don’t sign or if your signature doesn’t match what we have on file, your ballot is rejected. You do have a chance to reconcile your signature.

A key voter responsibility is to research and find out who is the most qualified candidate for the elected position.
